Cynthia Weese, FAIA Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award from Chicago Women in Architecture

Chicago Women in Architecture presented Cynthia Weese, FAIA their first Lifetime Achievement Award at their 34th Annual Spring Brunch on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The award was presented by Carol Ross Barney, FAIA and Roberta Feldman, PhD, AIA in recognition of her contributions to the Chicago Women in Architecture organization and her advocacy for women in the field of architecture.
Cynthia's distinguished 40+ year career is an example of women influencing the field of architecture through design, technology, and education. Her contribution has affected the lives and careers of others in the architecture community and inspired new generations of women to become actively involved in CWA and the field.
Cynthia is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Principal, Weese Langley Weese Architects, and Dean Emeritus, Washington University in St. Louis. Cynthia has been a member of SAH since 1992 and has served on the SAH Board as well as chaired the Development Committee.
