Two free student places available at the Association for Gravestone Studies Conference


The Association for Gravestone Studies is offering two free places for students at its international conference at the University of Colorado, USA fron June 20th to 24th 2023.

The places are open to all university students worldwide, postgraduate or undergraduate, and cover conference fees, all food and accomodation, and some travel expenses.

The conference is a mix of academic papers and site visits, and attendees' interests include the study of grave markers, monuments, tombs, and cemeteries of all types and encompassing all historical periods and geographical regions. Papers delivered cover  anthropology, historical archaeology, art and architectural history, ethnic studies, material culture studies, folklore and popular culture studies, linguistics, literature, rhetoric, local and regional history, cultural geography, sociology, and related fields.
