Charnley-Persky House, the headquarters of the Society of Architectural Historians, was the site of a DePaul University Urban Archaeology Field School during the month of July. Following up on the 2003 discovery of a 19th century garbage pit behind Charnley-Persky House, SAH invited University of Chicago-trained archaeologists Rebecca Graff and Mary Leighton to run a field school in the lot behind the house.
