The Society of Architectural Historians invites graduate students and emerging professionals to apply to participate in the virtual GAHTC Teacher-to-Teacher Workshop, “Backstage of the Global Histories Survey: Slow Looking, Translating, Listening, Activating,” that will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 10:00 am–3:45 pm CST. The workshop is limited to 30 participants. The program is organized by Esra Akcan, Cornell University, Jia Yi Gu, UCLA; and Rafico Ruiz, Canadian Centre for Architecture.

Applicants interested in participating will need to submit a statement of interest (up to 250 words) through the SAH online portal. The deadline to submit an application is February 28 at 11:59 pm CST.
SUBMIT YOUR STATEMENT OF INTEREST
Those who have never logged in to the SAH website will need to create an account. Applications are open to participants both in North America and around the globe to create a more international group of participants.
SAH membership is not required to apply, but participants are required to join SAH if they are not a member by March 20 (Student: $50 Digital
JSAH; $60 Digital + Print
JSAH). The workshop will be recorded (except for breakout sessions); therefore, all participants will need to agree to be recorded.
Applications will be reviewed by the workshop organizers and Patricia Morton, SAH 1st vice president, with a focus on selecting those who would benefit most from participating in the workshop.
