This month in SAH Archipedia, Daniel Williamson writes about Brutalism—its origins, aesthetics, and reception. Along with this thematic essay are new building entries, including Marcel Breuer’s Whitney Museum of American Art (now the Frick Madison).  

New Connecticut entries by Peterson Fellow Mary Begley have also been published in SAH Archipedia. The Peterson Fellowship offers a unique publication opportunity for graduate students. Applications are due in December.
