VARIA publishes original texts on the history and theory of architecture in Spanish, whose interests also differ in terms of chronological and geographical scope, as well as in terms of the scales of the city, the territory, the design or the landscape.
A major objective of VARIA is to gather the intellectual concerns of architectural historians, regardless of whether they are AhAU members or not, and its content includes articles, essays, book reviews, exhibition reviews, commentary on historical texts, annotated editions of original historical documentation, and other genres of short texts that are submitted to the editorial board.
