ICAG: VI International Conference on Architecture and Gender | October 3-6, 2023, Universitat Politècnica de València, School of Architecture (Spain) The VI International Conference on Architecture and Gender: Archive of Women in Architecture (International) 1973 - 2023, will be hosted by Universitat Politècnica de València, October 3 - 6, 2023. The city of Valencia, the Universitat Politècnica de València and the ETS Arquitectura UPV will host an event of great international impact with expectations of progress of the city and the UPV. The Conference is linked to the International Archive of Women in Architecture at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, and contributes to IAWA collections. A call for the Global Initiative “1×1” has been led by members of the executive committee of the IAWA Center. An Open Workshop Nuestras Arquitectas will investigate narratives of women architects who contributed to shaping the city of Valencia. The event will be moderated by Inés Moisset, Carolina Quiroga and Verónica Benedet, Argentina, Un día Una arquitecta and LINA. Members of SAH Women in Architecture Affiliate Group are grateful to the Board and Staff of the Society of Architectural Historians for lasting support of our Group and to Polytechnic University of Valencia for organization of this extraordinary congress. We are honored to contribute and participate in ICAG 2023 and meet in person and virtually with our role models and long-term friends.
