In 2024, IIBEC will apply for third-party accreditation of its certification program offering the Certified Building Enclosure Commissioning Provider (CBECxP®) designation. The accreditation effort includes establishing a governing body called the IIBEC Certification Council. IIBEC would like to recruit several volunteers from the building enclosure commissioning community for possible inclusion on that council. The 3-year term for each council participant starts April 1, 2024, with remote meetings expected to be held quarterly.
