NAPC is seeking proposals for educational sessions, panels and roundtables from individuals
contributing to the field of historic preservation (or related fields) at the local, state, and national levels
to be offered at FORUM 2024: Preservation Under the Palms.
NAPC seeks session proposals that speak to diverse heritage and facilitate thoughtful conversations about how we can positively leverage the power of historic places to do good for people and communities. FORUM 2024 programming will address the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion in preservation and will highlight the work being done in Florida and beyond to tell diverse stories and support historically excluded communities.
The mission of NAPC is to build strong preservation programs and leaders through education, training, and advocacy, and at its core, this means helping communities develop programs that are diverse, inclusive and equitable. FORUM 2024 is an extension of this mission. The conference will bring together people who are committed to ensuring that preservation is working for everyone and is telling the whole story of our past.
